Dr. Iftekhar Jadalla

Dr. Iftekhar Jadalla has a Doctor of Counseling (Ed) degree from Argosy University, Sarasota Florida. 

She worked as an Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland, European Division, and taught several psychology courses, communication skills and stress management.

She is also well experienced in the field of cultural difference’s impact on providing mental health services. Her research papers included “Attitudes Towards Mental Health Services Among Arabs” and “Cultural Perspective in Counseling Arabs”.

She worked for 35 years with the U.S. Mission in Saudi Arabia, during which she designed and implemented many training and cultural awareness programs that were approved by the US Air Force Department as an alternative to the mandatory program that was provided to its members before their departure to the culturally different location. She was also distinguished by designing a special course to teach Arabic Language to non-native speakers, that became approved to be the only course used for the community for more than 30 years. Received many awards and honors such as the Employee of the Year Award, the Civilian Achievement Medal, and Prince Sultan Bronze Medal.

Her volunteer work included providing counseling to USMTM members and employees of all nationalities for over four years and dedicating a Facebook page to improve mental health in the community.  She posted many articles specialized in developing parenting skills, enhancing self-confidence, and helping followers solve their problems through open communication with them. She obtained many additional certificates, including a Certified Life Coach in the Dream Builder Program and a Certified Life Consultant Program, from the Life Master Institute in Los Angeles, California, USA. She has also completed many training courses in reading body language, improving brain power and becoming extraordinary.
